Christopher Nagel's passion for immersive experiences began with cherished childhood Halloweens, igniting a fascination with the artistry of the macabre. This early inspiration fueled a journey into the world of costuming and show production, starting with local haunts like Terror Woods in Arcadia, NC, and Hell Hound Hollow in Lexington, NC. These formative experiences sparked a deep interest in the science and art of crafting the perfect scare, leading him to explore set design and costume creation.

For over a decade, Chris honed his skills with the nationally recognized team at Kersey Valley Spooky Woods, contributing as a scenic artist, fabricator, grounds manager, and ultimately serving as lead costumer. His expertise now extends to managing their equally successful Christmas spectacular, Kersey Valley Christmas.

With a keen eye for visual storytelling, artistic detail, and a practical understanding of large-scale production budgeting, Chris has launched his own venture, Heart Stoppers FX. His goal is to provide high-quality, budget-conscious products while inspiring the next generation of haunters and special effects artists.
